It all started at Mikropolis Bar, a cozy cocktail and craft beer bar tucked away on Vendersagde in Copenhagen. Our aim was to create a bar where people could expect perfection in a drink, without the stiff, unapproachable atmosphere.
We also wanted to find a way to share our exciting, flavourful cocktails as easily as we could share our exciting beers, since to pour a beer takes seconds, to make a cocktail takes patience. We realised in making quality drinks more accessible to people wasn’t just about the atmosphere, it was about the approach to the creation itself.
Through a lot, A LOT, of experimentation, recipes, late nights and many spirit bottles, we discovered a way to take all the complexity and flavour of our shaken cocktails and keep them in the same kind of keg that you’d use for beer. It was a breakthrough chapter in creating a cocktail that could be served simply, efficiently and beautifully.
It has been a long journey from the humble beginnings at Mikropolis Bar, and we are immensely proud of what we’ve created. We cannot wait to share it with you now.
